Our fermented hot sauce is definitely a kitchen staple. The fermentation of our Habanero, Jalapeno, and various chillies give a rich umami depth of flavor that can’t be matched. We know that fermentation is great for gut health, but that is not the only reason we ferment our chillies from 6 to 12 months. We believe that these fermented chilli hot sauces have such a unique and delicious flavor and we couldn’t help ourselves and ended up making three of them!

The fermentation process gives these sauces such a unique tang that is unmatched in anything we have tasted before. The Jalanasco and Habanasco are really vinegar and chili forward, so expect to really get to taste the brightness of the jalapenos in the Jalanasco and that classic fruitiness of the habaneros in the Habanasco. Our Southern Braai sauce is mild in comparison but is packed with flavor, giving you everything you could want in a classic BBQ sauce, but, of course, with our signature African twist.
