Our Jalanasco – Fermented Jalapeno Sauce is vinegar forward, which means it works perfectly to cut through the richness of a dish and bring much-needed acidity to your cooking.
We age Jalapeno peppers for 6 to 12 months to create a tangy, umami-flavored, Tabasco-style sauce, with a mild Jalapeno Pepper heat.
We love this sauce on just about everything but especially eggs, on avocado toast, or used in guacamole!

I wasn’t much of a “green” sauce fan – the infamous green tabasco tastes too much like vinegar to me, but African Dream Jalanasco is a different story – it tastes like the Jalapenos from my own garden. There’s a slight kick that’s not too hot even for someone who doesn’t use hot sauce. I love it with breakfast foods & tacos.
Honestly, when I first tried this sauce I wasn’t sold, it is really tangy! But then I tried it mixed in with some greek yogurt and my mind was blown!! Seriously, one of the best dips I have tasted!
I can no longer eat eggs without this sauce! A perfect blend of vinegar and Jalapenos with a little bit of funk from the fermentation. A quick-pourer and pretty mild, this is a great everyday sauce. Highly recommend!
