Ingredients
- 4 slices of your favorite rustic bread (sourdough or ciabatta work well)
- 1 cup cooked turkey, shredded or sliced
- 100g (about 3.5 oz) brie, sliced
- A handful of fresh rocket (arugula)
-
2–3 tbsp Sweet Dream Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter (or olive oil) for toasting
Directions
Lay out the bread slices on a clean surface and spread Sweet Dream Sauce on one side of each slice.
- On two of the slices, layer the shredded or sliced turkey evenly.
- Place the brie slices over the turkey, spreading them out to ensure even melting.
- Add a handful of fresh rocket (arugula) on top of the brie.
- Place the remaining bread slices on top of the rocket, Sweet Dream Sauce side down, to complete the sandwiches.
- Spread butter on the outer sides of each sandwich for toasting.
- Heat a skillet or sandwich press over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and press down gently with a spatula, or close the sandwich press.
- Toast the sandwiches for 3–4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden and crispy, and the brie is melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice diagonally, and serve hot. Optionally, drizzle more Sweet Dream Sauce on top or use it as a dipping sauce.
